PA1010
PA1010 (Polyamide 1010) is a bio-based polyamide produced by polycondensation of decamethylenediamine and sebacic acid. Sebacic acid is derived from castor oil. It is a nylon variety originally developed in China. PA1010 features low water absorption, excellent chemical resistance (especially to alkalis), good electrical insulation, and self-lubrication, widely used in cables, pipes, and coatings.
