Glass Fiber Reinforced PMMA
Glass fiber reinforced PMMA is produced by incorporating short-cut glass fibers (typically 10%~30% content) into the PMMA matrix. The addition of glass fibers significantly improves tensile strength, flexural modulus, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. Flexural modulus can reach 6000~9000 MPa, and HDT can reach 110~130°C, but transparency is reduced, resulting in translucent or opaque appearance. It is suitable for structural components requiring high rigidity and dimensional precision.
