PA6
PA6 (Polyamide 6 / Nylon 6) is a semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic produced by ring-opening polymerization of caprolactam. It is one of the most widely used engineering plastics globally, valued for its excellent mechanical properties, good chemical resistance, outstanding processability, and competitive cost-effectiveness. Compared to PA66, PA6 offers better low-temperature toughness and ductility, and superior long-term performance above 150°C.

Performance Characteristics：
• High strength and stiffness: excellent even unfilled; GF grades replace metal
• Superior low-temp toughness: more ductile than PA66, lower notch sensitivity
• Good heat resistance: continuous service ≥120°C
• Excellent chemical resistance: oils, solvents, many chemicals
• Wear resistance & self-lubrication: low friction, ideal for sliding parts
• Gas barrier: excellent O2 barrier, ideal for food packaging films
• Easy processing: injection molding, extrusion, blow molding
