PA66


PA66 (Polyamide 66 / Nylon 66) is a semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastic produced by polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid. It was the first commercialized polyamide. PA66 features a higher melting point (~260°C), greater stiffness, and better short-term heat resistance than PA6, making it a preferred engineering plastic in automotive and Electronics & Electrical applications.
