PA610


PA610 (Polyamide 610) is a long-chain semi-crystalline polyamide produced by polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and sebacic acid, with properties between PA6 and PA66. PA610 is characterized by low water absorption, excellent dimensional stability, and chemical resistance (especially to alkalis), along with good electrical insulation and wear resistance. Sebacic acid can be derived from castor oil, giving PA610 a partial bio-based attribute.
