PA6T
PA6T (Polyamide 6T) is a semi-aromatic polyamide produced by polycondensation of hexamethylenediamine and terephthalic acid, belonging to the PPA (polyphthalamide) family. Pure PA6T decomposes before melting (Tm ~370°C), so it must be copolymerized (e.g., PA6T/66), with commercial grades melting at ~310–325°C. PA6T is known for its extremely high HDT, low water absorption, and excellent high-temperature rigidity, making it the material of choice for automotive under-hood and electronic soldering applications.

Excellent chemical resistance: oils, coolants, solvents
High continuous use temp: 150–170°C (5000h)
Good flame retardancy: some grades inherently FR
