Halogen-free flame retardant PPSU is a composite material modified by incorporating halogen-free flame retardant systems (such as phosphorus-based, nitrogen-based, or inorganic hydroxides) into the PPSU resin. PPSU inherently possesses flame retardancy (UL94 V-0), but certain special applications (such as rail transit, aviation) require higher flame retardant ratings or lower smoke density and toxicity indices. This product achieves a higher level of flame retardant safety while maintaining PPSU's excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties, and is halogen-free, complying with environmental regulations.
Glass fiber reinforced PPSU is a composite material modified by incorporating a certain proportion (typically 10%~30%) of short glass fibers into pure PPSU resin. The addition of glass fibers significantly enhances tensile strength, flexural modulus, and heat deflection temperature, while effectively reducing molding shrinkage and improving dimensional stability. This material is particularly suited for engineering applications demanding high structural strength and elevated-temperature mechanical performance.
Pure Resin Transparent PPSU (Amber)
Pure resin transparent PPSU is the unmodified polyphenylsulfone base resin without any fillers or reinforcing agents, exhibiting the characteristic amber transparent appearance. This grade retains the inherent high heat resistance, excellent hydrolysis resistance, and outstanding impact strength of PPSU, making it the most widely used and highest-volume grade in the PPSU product family. Pure resin PPSU can be processed via conventional thermoplastic methods such as injection molding and extrusion, suitable for applications requiring high material purity and transparency.
