PA10T


PA10T (Polyamide 10T) is a semi-aromatic bio-based polyamide produced by polycondensation of decamethylenediamine (derived from castor oil) and terephthalic acid, with a melting point of ~316°C. PA10T combines PPA's high-temperature performance with bio-based sustainability, featuring extremely low water absorption and outstanding dimensional stability, making it an ideal bio-based alternative for high-temperature electronics and automotive applications.

Excellent high-temp rigidity: high strength retention >150°C

Good solder resistance: withstands lead-free reflow

Excellent chemical resistance: oils, coolants, solvents

Good flow: better processability than PA6T

General: GF30%–45% reinforced

High-flow: thin-wall injection

Flame-retardant: halogen-free V0

Impact-modified

Low-warp: mineral/GF hybrid

Hydrolysis-resistant: automotive cooling

High heat: long-term 170°C+ service

Electronic connectors: SMT, USB/Type-C, FPC connectors

Automotive under-hood: sensor housings, connectors, thermostats

Electrical: circuit breakers, relays

LED lighting: lamp holders, heat sink brackets
