PEEK Coarse Powder, also referred to as virgin or base powder, is produced by polymerizing PEEK resin, extruding it into pellets, and subsequently grinding and classifying to a particle size range of 200 – 1000 μm. It is the highest-volume and most widely used grade in the PEEK powder family, suitable for direct injection, compression and extrusion molding, and is also the feedstock for further grinding into fine and ultrafine grades.
PEEK high-flow granules are modified grades developed through molecular structure optimization or addition of specialty flow promoters. The melt flow rate (MFR) is increased by 2~5 times vs. standard pure resin, enabling perfect filling at lower injection temperatures and pressures.
PEEK wear-resistant modified granules are specialty modified products developed by adding solid lubricants or wear-resistant fillers such as PTFE, graphite, carbon fiber, and MoS₂.
PEEK carbon fiber reinforced granules are high-performance modified products with 10%~40% short-cut PAN-based carbon fibers in a PEEK matrix. The addition of carbon fiber achieves a leapfrog improvement in strength, modulus, and wear resistance while retaining PEEK's thermal and chemical resistance.
PEEK glass fiber reinforced granules are modified with 10%~40% short-cut E-glass fibers in a PEEK matrix. The addition of glass fiber dramatically increases stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability, while elevating the heat deflection temperature to over 315°C, while retaining PEEK's inherent chemical and thermal resistance.
